Our Mission.
Westlake Eanes Democrats (WE Dems) inspire and nurture community engagement, and increase voter turnout by building relationships, one neighbor at a time.
We’re building an inclusive community of engaged and informed voters supporting democratic values such as human rights, reproductive freedom and public education – especially our incredible Eanes ISD. We have increased Democratic voter turnout and kept the Eanes school board safe from book-banning extremists.
How We Work.
Build relationships with Democratic voters without any voting history and get them to the polls. Focus on non-voters to build relationships and support them in becoming consistent voters.
Increase voter turnout through personal interactions: A combination of phone-banking, door-knocking and community events to share literature and encourage voter turnout.
